With the first set of neighborhood charettes completed, a top concern expressed by Tampa residents is walkability and rideability in the city center area. Some residents feel narrow, obstructed or nonexistent sidewalks make it difficult for pedestrians to get around, while bike lanes on dangerous roads and sparse bike racks make it challenging for cyclists to get from point A to point B safely.
What are some ways Tampa can make its roads more pedestrian- and cyclist-friendly? Are there certain areas you think are particular problems?
